I help brands and creators grow memberships and subscriptions: the offer, the pricing, the launch and keeping members around. I've done it at Grubhub on its Grubhub+ subscription and for our own brand, Squareup.

My co-founder and I design the products, shoot the photos and videos, and edit everything ourselves. In a launch month, product sales run 3 to 5 times a normal month.

For a new deck, I set three prices: $13 for one, $12 each for two or three, and $9 each for four or more. That's price anchoring. The $13 price makes $9 feel like a steal, and keeping the middle tier close to $13 makes four the obvious pick.
For a small, growing brand it paid off. About a third of orders were four or more decks, those orders made up two-thirds of all decks sold, and the average order was close to three decks.
